Job summary

Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc is seeking a Ground Service Equipment Technician at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. The role supports the GSE Division with maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of airport support equipment.

The position offers a full-time schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays, and includes on-call and emergency call-in as needed. Experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical experience required — automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or similar.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills through hands‑on training in a GSE environment.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must successfully pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and maintain ground support equipment used in daily airport operations, including tugs, belt loaders, GPU, air start units, air conditioning units, and service carts.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment to safe, optimal condition.
• Build and assemble mechanical components and equipment as required.
• Clean, lubricate, and service machinery, equipment parts, and fluid systems.
• Check and replenish fluids, filters, and other consumable system components on schedule.
