Job summary

Humboldt Pacific LLC is seeking a local and regional Tanker Driver to join our team in Richmond, CA. This full-time role involves driving within 350-400 miles of Richmond and transporting aviation fuels and other petroleum products safely and efficiently.

The position offers hourly pay with training at $27 per hour (avg. 2 weeks) then $33 per hour plus overtime, paid vacation, health and 401k benefits. Must meet all minimum requirements and maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with TWIC, HAZMAT, and Tank Endorsement.
• Minimum of 24 months commercial driving experience.
• No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3 year period.
• No more than 2 accidents within a 3 year period.
• DOT Drug Screening required.
• No Felony convictions.
• No DUI's/ DWI's within the last 7 years.
• No positive or refused drug or alcohol tests.
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Must be 23 Years of age or older.
• Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Responsibilities

• Transports deliveries in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company policy and applicable State & Federal regulations.
• Applies knowledge and abilities to safely load and unload deliveries according to the capacity of the load and content description.
• Processes and maintains proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation and submits in a timely manner.
• Maintains communication with dispatch as to any delays or issues during route/shift.
• Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company’s image.
• Performs a daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection checklist, informing maintenance personnel of any issues.
• Maintains a daily, legible DOT log book and submits logbooks as required by company policy. Maintains vehicle in a neat and tidy manner.
• Reports all accidents/damages/malfunctions immediately to management as per company policy and procedure.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
