Job summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a Fuel Farm Operator to assist in sampling and testing products for quality control and to perform basic maintenance on fueling facilities and vehicles. The role involves safe handling of jet fuel, coordination of dispatches, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include inspections, log entries, and adherence to attendance and conduct policies, with flexible shifts and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Valid Driver's License; ability to obtain airport badges/seals.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and a physical.
• Flexible to work variable shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Receives and dispatches jet fuel, gasoline, diesel fuel, avgas, and glycol via pipelines and trucks.
• Samples and tests products for quality control and performs basic maintenance on facilities and fueling vehicles.
• Supports technicians with reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities and systems.
• Performs routine inspections in compliance with company and industry standards.
• Transfers product and monitors storage tanks and pipelines to prevent spills and contamination.
• Maintains safety by following company policies and procedures.
• Documents fuel transactions, quality control, and maintenance logs.
• Adheres to attendance and code of conduct standards.
