Job summary

Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking a Skilled Trades Worker to support building maintenance across DOA facilities, including Harry Reid International and neighboring airports. The role covers semi-skilled work in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and painting, with opportunities to assist in installing and repairing critical systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience; valid Nevada driver's license preferred;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of full‑time skilled trades experience.
• Experience performing installation, maintenance or repair work in building systems.
• Substitution of education/experience on a year‑for‑year basis allowed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and cement work.
• Assist in the upkeep of equipment and facilities at Clark County airports.
• Follow safety procedures and document work performed.
