Job summary

Future Aviation, Inc., a HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI) Repair Group facility, is seeking an Electronics Technician in Southwest Florida to join our team in Fort Myers. The role involves repairing and overhauling aircraft electronic components per applicable data and FAA requirements.

The Electronics Technician will analyze manuals, read schematics, and perform troubleshooting, repair, and installations while ensuring on-time delivery and quality workmanship in a demanding aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years micro components experience.
• Must have 5+ years board level experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical data and component maintenance manuals.
• Must be able to read and write the English language.
• Must be proficient in the use of Tools & Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fully analyzes component maintenance manual, all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair and install desired product or part.
• Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels.
• Professionally trains and leads other Team Members in proper work techniques.
• Schedules items through the shop to maintain on-time deliveries.
• Inspects and checks components prior to installation to prevent damage.
