Job summary

CSI Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO, is seeking a Bench Technician to perform component level troubleshooting and repair of complex aviation electronic and electromechanical components. This is a 1st Shift position 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday.

OT as needed on Fridays. Responsibilities include reading drawings, schematics and service manuals; troubleshooting AC/DC circuits with test equipment; soldering and board repair; and assisting with mechanical component assembly/disassembly

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of experience in electronic/electromechanical field preferred or graduate of Aviation Technology program.
Soldering and board repair experience required.
Familiar with standard test equipment (multimeters, scopes, generators).
Strong troubleshooting skills with AC/DC circuits.

Responsibilities

Read and understand drawings, prints and schematics.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits to component level failures (ICs, resistors, transistors, capacitors).
Troubleshoot electrical circuits and mechanisms to component level failures (motors, gear boxes, relays, sensors, power supplies).
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams and schematics.
Other duties as assigned.
