Jacobsis seeking a driven professional engineer to join our specialized military aviation team. You will work on planning-level assignments, perform electrical design, and coordinate cross-disciplinary efforts for airfield projects, with hybrid work options and growth opportunities.

You will bring a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, PE certification, and experience in airfield lighting and power distribution to advance mission-critical outcomes for clients worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • Airfield lighting and power distribution experience.
  • CAD/CAE knowledge.
  • United States Citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning-level aviation assignments.
  • Perform electrical engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting.
  • Prepare specifications and plan sets for airfield projects.
  • Coordinate with aviation design professionals and disciplines.
  • Perform bid-phase and construction-phase services such as RFIs, clarifications, shop drawings, and submittals.
  • Attend site visits for construction quality, acceptance testing and management.
  • Attend design team and client meetings.
  • Attend industry-level training and collaboration events.
