Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking an Aviation Design Coordinator to contribute to airfield design projects and ensure compliance with FAA orders, ACs, UFCs, and client manuals.

You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and AVI-Plan to prepare aviation-related designs and studies, while maintaining project records and SharePoint sites. Join HDR's employee-owned culture and collaborate with engineers, planners, and specialists across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Interest or experience designing general aviation, commercial service and/or Military airfields.
• Basic use of AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar design software) and introduction to AVI-Plan software packages
• Microsoft Office experience
• Must be able to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Be aware of FAA Orders and Advisory Circulars (AC), UFC requirements, local agency requirements, and client manuals.
• Be involved with HDR Airfield Design Community of Practice (CoP).
• Prepare elements of aviation related designs, studies and/or reports with direction.
• Compile project records / maintain SharePoint sites, project files, etc.
• Perform other duties as needed.
