Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Composite Technician for the Solon, OH location. This on-site, full-time role involves performing composite repairs using wet layup and prepreg methods, with autoclave/oven curing as required.

You will use precision measuring tools, hand tools, and follow FAA guidelines to ensure quality and safety. Key duties include tooling maintenance, accurate documentation, and collaboration with team leaders to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or welcomed A&P license.
• Experience with composite repair methods and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance data and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform wet layup and prepreg composite repairs.
• Operate autoclave or controlled oven for curing.
• Use close tolerance measuring tools and hand tools.
• Bagging and material prep for various component shapes.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; handle safety protocols.
