Job summary

RS&H, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Aviation team in Albuquerque, NM for Summer 2027. This internship offers hands-on experience across airfields, buildings, and environmental planning while mentored by senior engineering staff.

You will work on conventional and design-build projects, collaborate with roadway and water resources teams, and gain exposure to FAA guidance and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university with at least 1 year remaining until program completion
• 2.5 GPA or above
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles
• Prepare and revise engineering design drawings
• Collect, prepare, and analyze data
• Perform engineering with the use of computer-assisted engineering software and equipment
• Provide support to engineering and project management associates
