Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a full‑time Aviation Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our team serving the Florida, Illinois, and Missouri regions. You will perform calculations, support planning and design, and assist with permitting and field data collection.

This role requires a civil engineering degree, FE/EIT is desirable, and 0–3 years of aviation project experience is preferred. Travel and collaboration with remote offices are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (required).
• FE/EIT certification desirable or planned before graduation.
• 0–3 years of aviation project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and use design software for aviation and civil site projects.
• Obtain permitting, collect data, and support planning and design tasks.
• Assist with site investigations, field reconnaissance, utility locations, and permit applications.
• Support construction document preparation, contractor pricing, and project close-out documentation.
• Collaborate with senior technical staff.
