Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no violations over past 5 years.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Must pass FBI background check and obtain airport clearance.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Must pass pre-employment medical and a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Read air waybill, bills of lading or freight manifest to determine items to move, gather or distribute.
• Convey freight from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas using forklift or transporter.
• Sort and store materials by destination or consignee in racks or bins.
• Sort and store dangerous goods in appropriate area.
• Fill requisitions and distribute items to other locations; record counts and movements.
• Open containers, count items received or distributed, and document inventory.
