Job summary

AAR Corp is seeking a Cabin/Interiors Technician III in Miami to perform removal, disassembly, inspection, and reinstalling of cabin furnishings and equipment such as galleys, lavatories, seats, and panels.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years aviation maintenance experience or be a new graduate of aviation technical or A&P school; high school diploma; able to read blueprints and service bulletins; may hold an FAA Airframe license (preferred); work in a warehouse/production environment with

Qualifications

Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in standard English.
General mechanical aptitude and ability to read instructions.
May or may not have an FAA A&P license; required to use minimum tools.
One to three years of aviation maintenance experience or new graduate of aviation technical or A&P school.

Responsibilities

Removal, disassembly, cleaning, inspecting, repairing and reinstalling cabin furnishings and equipment (galleys, lavatories, seats, panels, carpeting).
Repair, adjustments and installation of aircraft seats.
Read and understand blueprints, engineering documents and service bulletins; perform cabin reconfigurations.
Maintain safety, tool control and clean work area; comply with FAA and customer standards.
