Job summary

Lynn University’s Institute for Achievement and Learning is seeking an in-person Aviation and Business tutor. A master’s degree is required, with proficiency in aviation and aeronautics; experience in accounting, economics, and business management is preferred but not required.

The tutor will access weekly tutoring schedules, review materials in Accommodate and Canvas, and enter session data into the IAL database while coordinating with the academic coach and attending monthly tutor meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Proficiency in aviation and aeronautics.
• Experience in accounting, economics and business management preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Access latest weekly tutoring schedule to determine names of students and subjects to be tutored.
• Determine subject instructors.
• Check Accommodate and Canvas websites of individual subjects to determine what material will be covered in class.
• Use subject material and develop strategies needed to assist student.
• Enter tutoring session data on the IAL database.
