Job summary

Talbert, Bright & Ellington (TBE) seeks motivated Civil Engineering Interns passionate about aviation and infrastructure. This role offers hands-on experience in airport planning, design, and construction, supporting engineers with design work and field observations.

Opportunities are in Miami, FL for Summer 2027, with exposure to FAA standards, CAD tools, and project coordination on aviation projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work in-person and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and preparation of airfield plans, drawings, and reports.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other tools to support project development.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and field observations.
• Contribute to project documentation, exhibits, and presentations.
• Research FAA design standards and airport planning requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and managers to meet deadlines.
