Job summary

GA Telesis, a global aviation and aerospace leader, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations at its Miami and Fort Lauderdale MRO facilities, with travel between sites as required.

You will lead GAAP financial reporting, month-end close, audits, and internal controls while mentoring the accounting team and partnering with operations, supply chain, HR, and the CFO. A strong background in aviation or manufacturing accounting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in supervision.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite) and Excel.
• Experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, or manufacturing Industry.
• Familiarity with government contracting, cost accounting standards, and DCAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including ledgers, A/P, A/R, fixed assets, and payroll.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with timeliness.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop policies to improve efficiency and implement internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and treasury activities with CFO.
• Mentor accounting staff and collaborate with operations, supply chain, HR.
