Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking an Accessory Technician to test, adjust, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul core aircraft accessory components to manufacturer specifications and Duncan procedures. The role includes accurate documentation and adherence to FAA regulations in a safe, clean environment.

Ideal candidates have an Associates degree or related experience with prior aviation component maintenance. Opportunities vary by technician level and include benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year aviation component maintenance or related experience required.
• Minimum three years aviation component maintenance or related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, and tests core accessory components using hand tools, power tools, ground support equipment, test equipment and technical documents.
• Orders parts needed to complete the work and updates work orders as required by Duncan procedures, manuals, and FAA regulations.
• Provides accurate repair and overhaul information for creating estimates.
• Maintains and cleans test equipment and work area as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
