Job summary

Aviagen's Internship Program is a 10-12 week paid summer internship designed to introduce interns to Aviagen roles available after graduation. You will gain hands-on experience by engaging in daily operations and interact with managers, executives, and team members across the organization.

You will be mentored by cultural ambassadors and industry experts, work on projects tied to business objectives, and explore multiple areas such as Laboratory, Live Production, Hatchery, Office, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a University/College.
• Sophomore year or above preferred.
• Alignment with Aviagen's mission, vision, and values.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project results that impact our bottom‑line. Projects will be determined alongside our management teams and the mentor assigned to the intern.
• Apply your knowledge to solve real industry challenges in a setting that fosters growth and development
• Share ideas that help our team think outside the box
• Step out of your comfort zone and figure out where you fit into the global food chain
