Job summary

Cedar Point is seeking a Technical Service Technician to repair and maintain our audio/video systems across the park, including during special events. You will troubleshoot AV-related issues in the field and perform precise repairs at the component level.

You will also support two-way radio maintenance and contribute to the design and upkeep of automated AV control systems, ensuring high-quality guest experiences while adhering to safety standards and union requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must join Laborers Union.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Able to work at heights (catwalks, aerial lifts, crane baskets, scaffolding).
• Experience with electronic and Audio/Visual equipment.
• Willing to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Cedar Point's audio/video systems.
• Perform repairs on two-way radios.
• Set-up and strike for special events.
• Repair electronics down to the component level.
• Design and maintain automated A/V control systems.
