University of Delaware is hiring an Auxiliary Security Officer to perform uniformed security duties across campus locations in Newark, DE. The role requires monitoring building access, ensuring safety, and responding to incidents during mostly evening shifts.
Under general supervision, you will protect the campus community, enforce procedures, and coordinate with police when necessary. A high school diploma and the ability to drive are required; First Aid/CPR training will be provided.

Under general supervision, serves as a uniformed member of theUniversity of Delaware Police Department performing routine anddiverse duties at university locations throughout the State ofDelaware. Requiring independent judgment in the application ofprescribed procedures and methods related to university services.Promotes safety and security among the University community; takescorrective action as required in accordance with established rules,regulations and procedures; requires the exercise of tactful andassertive interpersonal communication skills.
