Job summary

Swagelok is seeking an Auxiliary Operator for 1st shift at Willoughby Hills to enhance and modify products, perform changeovers, and troubleshoot to standard work. The role supports continuous improvements and training of teammates to meet production targets.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of related experience, and good mechanical aptitude. Willingness to work across departments and maintain safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience before advancing to Independent Auxiliary Operator.
• Preferred: good mechanical skills

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate abilities from levels 1 & 2 to perform daily tasks efficiently.
• Operate and set-up moderate and complex auxiliary operations.
• Understand most part configurations processed on auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot abnormal processes and coordinate with setup personnel to resolve issues.
• Use department resources to make decisions (schedules, routings, metrics).
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement ideas.
• Assist in developing others and training colleagues.
