Job summary

Best Buy in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Car Electronics Installer (Autotech Agent) to install car electronics in our store's installation bay and advise customers with product recommendations, sharing best practices with teammates.

You’ll verify vehicle compatibility, complete trainings and certifications, and deliver a high level of customer service. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required; there are opportunities to advance to Autotech Agent Level 2.

Qualifications

• Experience installing car electronics preferred.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install car electronics including remote starts, stereos, dash cameras, backup cameras and amplifiers.
• Identify compatible products using guides and complete installation projects.
• Verify vehicle make and model and communicate compatibility concerns before installation.
• Provide a high level of customer service and share advice with customers and teammates.
• Complete required trainings and certifications.
