Job summary

RAPA is seeking a Development Engineer for AUTOSAR Base Software (m/f/d) in Selb, Germany. You will develop AUTOSAR base software for automotive control units—from MCAL through all AUTOSAR layers to the RTE—and configure interfaces with hardware teams using Vector DaVinci tools.

You will work within a team to follow ASPICE processes, explore advanced AUTOSAR topics, and contribute to safety management per ISO 26262, while maintaining structured, independent work habits and strong communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
Excellent programming skills in C.
In-depth knowledge of AUTOSAR (Classic Platform), ideally including Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer.
Experience with software development processes according to Automotive SPICE.
Knowledge of functional safety per ISO 26262 is a plus.
Structured and independent work style with team collaboration.
Fluent in German and proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Development of AUTOSAR base software for automotive control units—from MCAL through all AUTOSAR layers to the RTE.
Definition of hardware-software interface in collaboration with hardware development.
Configure base software and RTE generation using Vector DaVinci; define software components and interfaces.
Process-oriented development according to Automotive SPICE (ASPICE).
Explore AUTOSAR topics based on experience and interest.
Collaborate with application software development and safety management (ISO 26262).
