Job summary

HavocAI, a leader in all-domain collaborative autonomy, is seeking a Test Engineer to advance ASV platforms and autonomy systems. You will plan, execute, and analyze tests across mechanical, electrical, and software domains, coordinating with hardware, software, and mission operations teams.

This hands-on role covers dockside testing, sea trials, and real-world deployments, with an emphasis on safety, traceability, and rapid feedback to engineering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in test engineering or related field.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, software, and embedded systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex integrated systems.
• Experience with embedded systems, networking, and CAN/UDP/TCP.
• Experience testing autonomous or robotic systems.
• Strong analytical skills using test data.
• Ability to read technical docs and diagrams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work in marine environments.
• Travel up to 50% including multi-day deployments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for mechanical, electrical, software, and integrated systems.
• Define test objectives, success criteria, configurations, and data requirements with engineering.
• Support testing across development lifecycle from validation to field testing.
• Identify test gaps and develop new approaches for validation.
