Shield AI is seeking a Product Manager to shape the future of autonomous systems for Unmanned Ground Vehicles, driving innovation by partnering with a cross-functional team to define and deliver capabilities in a defense-focused program.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in defense weapons programs, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The role is onsite in Washington, DC, with a salary range of $220K–$330K per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in product management for defense or government programs.
• Strong coordination with engineers, program managers, business development, and sponsors.
• Ability to forecast requirements and align roadmaps with customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Represent product management for the Hivemind UGV portfolio and align strategy with market needs.
• Track autonomy feature progress and forecast portfolio requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to decide what to build, when, and for whom.
• Document findings via roadmaps, whitepapers, CONOPs, and presentations; support marketing and sales.
