Job summary

Cleo Robotics is seeking a Robotics Autonomy Engineer to advance autonomy features for Dronut UAVs. You will develop, integrate, and deploy AI and autonomy algorithms using LiDAR, IMU, and cameras to navigate GPS-denied environments.

You will optimize perception, localization, and planning on edge hardware, with emphasis on reliability, testing, and field validation across multiple platforms. Join a growing robotics team solving complex autonomy challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in robotics, CS, or related; advanced degree is a plus.
• Strong software fundamentals and track record in autonomy projects.
• Hands-on experience deploying autonomy software on real robots.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance the autonomy stack across localization, mapping, and path planning.
• Integrate and test AI/autonomy algorithms on UAV platforms.
• Work with embedded edge hardware to meet real-time constraints.
• Develop perception and reactive autonomy for obstacle avoidance and safe navigation.
• Collaborate across autonomy, perception, sensors, and flight controls.
