Job summary

AeroVect seeks a Vehicle Integration Technician to assemble and integrate mechanical and electrical systems for our autonomous platform. You will work with the Hardware team to ensure reliable autonomy hardware and tight integration of components.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical integration, power electronics, and autonomy lifecycle development, plus familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiar with manufacturing, testing, or diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with power electronics and DC-DC/DC-AC converters.
• End-to-end autonomy experience on a production ground vehicle.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Slides).

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable harnesses, fabricate mounts, integrate OTS components, and test systems.
• Follow schematics and descriptions to complete assembly and integration tasks.
• Maintain and improve the reliability of vehicle autonomy systems (electrical, mechanical, sensing, actuation).
• Collaborate with the Autonomy Engineering team to calibrate and integrate perception, planning, navigation, and control.
• Assist with workshop management: stock consumables, ensure tools, keep workspace tidy.
• Travel up to 50%.
