Job summary

Waabi in the United States seeks a Safety and Systems Technical Program Manager to drive safety and systems engineering for our autonomous vehicle platforms. You will translate milestones into centralized plans and remove bottlenecks across engineering leads.

Collaborate with TPMs, consolidate timelines, track progress with AI-assisted tools, and deliver executive reporting on safety, security and systems work. Equity and discretionary bonus are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cross-functional technical program management experience.
• Direct experience in autonomous vehicles or safety-critical environments.
• Fluency in systems engineering, safety assurance, and requirements management.
• Proficiency with Jira and modern AI-assisted tracking tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety, security, and systems plans across teams.
• Consolidate timelines and status updates into a master plan.
• Provide executive reporting on tasks, deliverables, and resources.
• Oversee verification and validation in simulation and real-world testing.
• Lead driverless deployment decisions through Production Readiness Reviews (PRR).
• Align software evaluation activities with product maturity and deployment phases.
• Maintain issue burndown tracking and route issues to stakeholders.
