The role requires a valid US driver's license with a clean record, no recent DUI/DWI offenses, and strong attention to safety. Expect to drive in varying weather and traffic, with a focus on adherence to regulations and team communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with 3+ years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• No DUI/DWI or drug/alcohol offenses within last 5 years.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to make quick, safe decisions in dynamic conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort and experience driving in varying weather and traffic.

Responsibilities

• Drive and test autonomous vehicles on public roads.
• Monitor vehicle performance and be ready to take control when needed.
• Follow traffic laws and safety procedures at all times.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Record driving observations and report issues to the team.
• Communicate with riders, engineers and operations staff.
• Respond safely to unexpected road, traffic, or pedestrian situations.
