Job summary
Bastian Automation, a division of Toyota Automated Logistics, seeks a Project Engineer with automation experience to join the Autonomous Vehicle Division in Georgetown, KY. You will drive development and execution of complex automation projects, emphasizing technical innovation, research, and debugging of advanced systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Demonstrated servant leadership skills and teamwork.
- Experience with robotics, autonomous vehicle systems, material handling, or logistics is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design automation systems incorporating system concepts, design elements, and interlocks.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex systems including electrical, PLCs, navigation, sensors, and networking.
- Assemble vehicles and provide on-site installation support as needed.
- Support development of new products such as AGVs and accessories.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and dealers for automation projects.
- Create clear technical documentation and user manuals.
