Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Review patient history and correlate clinical information for accurate imaging studies.
• Prepare and educate patients while creating a calm and reassuring experience.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and imaging technology with precision.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures as needed.
• Practice safe patient care techniques and maintain infection prevention standards.
• Monitor patient condition and respond during procedures.
• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and department standards.
• Serve as a mentor and educational resource for students, peers, and clinical staff.
• Support departmental workflow, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
• Float to other qualified areas as needed to support patient care operations.
