Job summary

Gatik, the leader in autonomous middle-mile logistics, is seeking experienced CDL drivers to operate 26–30 ft box trucks in Rochester Hills, MI. You will work alongside advanced vehicle technology powering Gatik's middle-mile network.

The role requires a safety-focused mindset, 3+ years of driving, a valid CDL with a clean MVR, and ability to report clearly via DVIRs and feedback. Shifts are rotating and candidates must pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional driving experience.
• At least 1+ year driving 26–30 ft box trucks.
• Valid CDL and clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Commitment to safety and fleet integrity.
• Experience with Samsara ELD, timecard tools, Slack and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Drive and test 26–30 ft box trucks and monitor diagnostics.
• Maintain vehicle standards and coordinate repairs.
• Complete pre- and post-trip DVIRs accurately.
• Record software/hardware behavior to assist autonomous tech.
• Escalate risks and own vehicle readiness.
