Job summary

Passport Health in Savannah, GA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in travel medicine. This role emphasizes autonomy, direct patient interaction, and a departure from traditional hospital routines.

You will conduct in-depth travel health consultations, administer vaccines per standing orders, promote travel health products, and manage clinic setup, inventory, and compliance. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, starting at $43 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Compact (multistate) licensure accepted where you reside and provide care.
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience; travel medicine a bonus.
• Ability to work independently without constant backup.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and basic computer use.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification; ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth travel health consultations and educate clients on destination risks.
• Administer vaccines per standing orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Promote travel health products and medications as appropriate.
• Manage clinic setup, inventory, and compliance with safety/documentation protocols.
• Support onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events as needed.
• Participate in ongoing travel medicine training to keep clinical knowledge current.
