Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. The role focuses on peri-operative care, operative first assist, and consultative services to support a team of surgical attendings and learners.

Ideal candidates are board certified (NCCPA/AANPCB/ANCC), hold CT state licensure, and are ACLS certified.

Qualifications

• Must be NCCPA/AANPCB/ANCC board certified and hold a Connecticut state license.
• ACLS certification is required; RNFA certification is required for Nurse Practitioners.
• Two years of in-patient surgical experience preferred; motivated new graduate will be considered.
• High level of clinical autonomy; in-house call responsibilities and full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive peri-operative care and operative first assistant to the surgical team.
• Deliver consultant services in support of attending surgeons and learners.
