Job summary

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SIWS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Product Review Engineer to join ESG at Kennedy Space Center, FL. The role focuses on applying design/engineering principles to resolve issues across the lifecycle, with emphasis on safety and performance.

You will perform root cause analyses, develop dispositions for design non-conformances, and support MRB/IPT activities while collaborating across teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science or computer science.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering/manufacturing/production.
• Experience in aerospace design or manufacturing.
• Ability to analyze and interpret product data (drawings, parts lists, wiring diagrams).

Responsibilities

• Apply Boeing design/engineering principles to resolve issues through the product lifecycle.
• Analyze and develop dispositions for design non-conformances and implement interim/final solutions.
• Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis to understand root cause.
• Provide engineering support to identify solutions and write dispositions for damage.
• Support deviations impacting design intent and safety; drive improvements.
• Develop and implement product/process improvements.
• Design interim repairs and perform required analyses; develop NDT methods.
• Participate in MRB and IPT activities and represent engineering in reviews.
• Represent engineering from build to postproduction.
