Job summary

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks engineers to prototype next-generation robotic solutions addressing critical Navy challenges, spanning software and hardware.

You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team working on machine perception, autonomous decision-making, data fusion, control systems, and mechanical design, with applications across unmanned air, sea, and underwater vehicles.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with robotic system design methodologies and techniques.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Prototype next-generation robotic solutions to address Navy challenges.
  • Work on multidisciplinary teams spanning software and hardware.
  • Contribute to rapid prototyping from conception through field testing.
