Job summary

Qualifications

  • RN license in Florida is required.
  • BSN preferred at time of hire.
  • RNs hired without a BSN must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire.
  • Professional nursing certifications are preferred at hire and required within 2 years of hire (when eligible).

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health status and identify health concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes.
  • Engage patients and families in care planning and delivery.
  • Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality.
  • Delegate and supervise care provided by LPNs and UAP.
  • Promote a positive unit culture and collaborative work environment.
  • Uphold standards of patient advocacy, safety, and clinical excellence.
