Job summary

Springfield Health System in Springfield, Illinois is seeking an Internal Medicine physician for outpatient clinic duties with no inpatient responsibilities. You will work in a physician-led setting with dedicated APP support and a favorable 1:2 physician-to-MA ratio, supported by telenurse triage for call coverage.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, full-time 1.0 FTE, flexible day/hour options, and input into scheduling. Competitive compensation includes base salary with incentives.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Interest in outpatient-only, continuity-based primary care.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Internal Medicine in a single-clinic setting within a physician-led organization.
• Dedicated APP support and a strong 1:2 physician-to-MA ratio at all locations.
• Average of 18 to 22 patients per day for full-time physicians.
• Telenurse triage handles call coverage, so your time off is protected.
