Job summary

Local Infusion in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Infusion Nurse to deliver high-quality infusion therapy with autonomy and skilled IV access. You will provide direct patient care at our clinic and support clinicians with IV starts and monitoring.

The ideal candidate is an RN licensed in Virginia, experienced in outpatient infusion, and proficient with EHR systems, with willingness to work one to two Saturdays per month. ACLS/PALS preferred; BLS required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy in a clinical setting.
• Ability to insert 5+ peripheral IVs per shift.
• ACLS & PALS certification preferred; BLS CPR required.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Willingness to work 1–2 Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the health status of the patient.
• Deliver infusions or injections per protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers about patient status and plan of care.
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients.
