Job summary

Jackson Physician Search is assisting a level IV trauma center in Southern Idaho to recruit a BE/BC General Cardiologist for the launch of a new cardiology practice in an underserved community.

The position offers a 4-day work week (Mon-Thu), no regular call or weekend duties, about 14 patients per day, a $50,000 recruitment package and up to $90,000 yearly in Continuous Improvement incentives after year two, plus a brand-new clinic with MA support.

Qualifications

• BE/BC cardiologist required.
• Not considering new graduates or visa candidates.
• Experience launching a new cardiology practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join the launch of a new cardiology practice in an underserved community.
• Maintain ~14 patient visits per day with Medical Assistant support.
• Provide hospital consultations as needed with rare on-call duties.
• Collaborate with a multispecialty group and built-in referral network.
