Job summary
TeamHealth seeks an emergency medicine physician to join our Brookwood Baptist Freestanding ED in Birmingham, Alabama. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern freestanding ED with full-spectrum EM services including rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment.
Work with skilled nursing, radiology, and lab teams in a high-efficiency setting, enjoy flexible scheduling, lower patient volume, 24/7 imaging and onsite labs, and seamless transfer to Brookwood Baptist Medical Center
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
- Strong clinical judgment across emergent presentations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care in a freestanding ED.
- Perform rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of acute conditions.
- Collaborate with nursing, radiology, and laboratory teams for efficient care
