Mentorship for new graduates and clinical autonomy for experienced vets are highlighted, with opportunities in wellness, sick visits, surgery, and dentistry.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree required.
• State licensure in the practicing state.
• Demonstrated compassion for animals and owners.
• Excellent dexterity for handling animals during procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick clinical decisions under pressure.
• Good understanding of animal behavior.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems.
• Treat and dress wounds and perform surgery when needed.
• Prescribe medication and advise owners on care.
• Operate medical equipment such as x-ray machines.
• Collaborate with the team to provide high-quality care.
