Job summary

ISUZU NORTH AMERICA CORPORATION in Plymouth, MI seeks an Engineer I or II to support development of Autonomous Driving software, including Perception/Localization, Planning/Prediction or Control modules. You will verify software, run vehicle tests, and conduct simulations on both track and public roads.

The role requires a Master’s degree in CS/EE/Robotics; one year of related experience, and collaboration with US/Japan teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree in CS/EE/Robotics or related field; PhD preferred.
Minimum one year of experience in data analysis, robotics, programming, or automotive systems.
Strong programming in Python and C++ with ML frameworks and robotics middleware.

Responsibilities

Develops Autonomous Driving software stack components (Perception/Localization, Planning/Prediction or Control).
Collaborates with internal and external partners, reviews documents and source code.
Analyzes driving log data and prepares data pipelines for ML model training.
Evaluates system performance via simulation and on-vehicle testing.
Supports vehicle testing to verify and validate Autonomous Driving features.
Contributes to ongoing R&D on autonomous driving algorithms and technologies.
