Job summary
Tend is seeking a Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts to deliver preventive and periodontal care in a modern studio with the support of a dedicated dental assistant. You’ll work within Tend’s Team (Assisted) Hygiene model, collaborating with dentists and the studio team to optimize patient care and production.
Two compensation plans are offered: Plan A with a higher base and no bonus, Plan B with base plus a monthly performance bonus.
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current, active hygiene license in the state you’re applying for.
- Current Anesthesia/Nitrous license in applicable state.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Comfort with digital charting and x-rays, intraoral cameras, and technology-driven care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive preventive and periodontal care per guidelines.
- Collaborate with a dental assistant to optimize schedule and care delivery.
- Partner with dentists for hygiene exams and treatment planning.
- Proactively drive hygiene production and support same-day treatment.
- Work within Tend’s Assisted Hygiene model with team backing.
- Maintain strong patient relationships through clear communication and education.
- Collaborate with studio team to ensure seamless care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through CE opportunities.
