Job summary

Confidential in Iowa is seeking a CRNA to provide autonomous anesthesia services in an inpatient OR setting, with day shifts and regular 1:3 call. The assignment is locum tenens, starting ASAP and ongoing with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off pattern.

Proficiency in regional blocks is required; PICC line ability preferred. Iowa license and board certification are mandatory; prescriptive authority and a minimum of five years malpractice history are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold CRNA board certification and an active Iowa license.
• Prescriptive authority required.
• Minimum five years malpractice history.
• Proficiency in regional anesthesia and obstetric/OR cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous anesthesia services during day and call shifts in inpatient OR.
• Perform regional anesthesia blocks as required.
• Handle beeper-call rotation (1:3) and manage diverse surgical case mix.
