Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia from a COA-accredited program.
• Active, full and unrestricted CNA license to practice as a CNA.
• Board certification by NBCRNA or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship.
• English language proficiency.
• Grandfathering provision for current VA employees in related roles.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and prepare anesthesia plan.
• Deliver inhalation, regional, intravenous, local, and topical anesthetics.
• Monitor patient status and manage complications during surgery.
• Provide emergency airway management and resuscitation.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams; mentor trainees and provide education.
