Job summary

DVM Focus is representing a full-time Associate Veterinarian opportunity in the South Seattle metro area for an experienced DVM seeking a collaborative general-practice environment with strong clinical resources and an established support team.

This role offers comprehensive companion-animal medicine with autonomy to manage cases while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals.

Qualifications

DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
Washington veterinary license or ability to obtain one
Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical veterinary experience
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
General surgical and dental competency
Excellent client communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative veterinary team
Commitment to high-quality patient care and continued professional development

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive companion-animal care including preventive and wellness medicine
Conduct patient examinations and medical workups
Perform diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning
Engage in internal medicine and general surgery
Perform dentistry and dental procedures
Manage cases and provide follow-up care
Educate clients and communicate treatment plans
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
