Job summary

Great Bay Staffing Group is seeking a board-certified/eligible anesthesiologist for an East Texas position with a 12-on/9-off schedule and $600K compensation as a 1099 contractor. The role offers autonomy, supervision of CRNAs, and regional anesthesia opportunities in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO, have ABA eligibility/certification, and be licensed or eligible for Texas practice with DEA and ACLS/BLS credentials. Regional anesthesia training is available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology (ABA).
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure or current Texas license.
• Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Comfortable supervising CRNAs in an anesthesia care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services across a broad spectrum of surgical cases.
• Supervise and collaborate with experienced CRNAs in an anesthesia care team model.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative care management.
• Administer general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and monitored anesthesia care.
• Participate in a structured 12-days-on, 9-days-off rotation schedule.
• Maintain clinical excellence and patient safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
