Job summary

AWS is building Kiro Crew, an autonomous agent layer for Kiro, tackling development tasks with memory across sessions and continuous learning. We seek engineers to shape architecture, work with customers, and ship features that improve how developers work.

You'll collaborate daily on reviews, mentorship, and rapid skill development, with opportunities to lead projects and set technical direction from day one.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction and architecture of Kiro Crew.
• Work directly with customers to translate challenges into product capabilities.
• Build and operate production systems using CI/CD practices for reliability and performance.
• Balance innovation with operational excellence while meeting AWS standards for scale and security.
• Oversee agent orchestration, memory systems, and open-source community engagement.
