Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN License issued by the State of California.
• BLS and ACLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six months of hire date.
• Must have at least two years of recent acute care RN experience in an IMU or PCU setting.
• Understands nursing-sensitive indicators relevant to PCU/IMU and integrates measures into daily practice.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and clinical skills for complex patients in a stepdown setting.
• Ability to handle unexpected challenges with a patient-centered approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all disciplines of staff, physicians, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous nursing care in line with ANA Standards of Practice.
• Assess, implement, and evaluate nursing actions for patient care populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality and safety outcomes.
